Trocador
An aggregator that compares rates from many accountless swap services and has a separate Zcash (Shielded) option.
Guide
- Open trocador.app, choose the coin you send and Zcash (Shielded) as the coin you get, enter an amount and press Exchange.
- Pick an offer under Floating Rate or Fixed Rate. Each row names the partner exchange and shows its ETA and Trocador's privacy rating.
- Paste your shielded Zcash address under Your receiving address and press Confirm Exchange.
- Send your coins to the deposit address shown. The partner sends the ZEC once your deposit confirms.

- Who can see it
- The chain you pay from is public. The partner exchange you pick sees the amounts and both addresses.
- Who holds your funds
- Trocador never holds funds. You send coins to the partner's deposit address and rely on it to send the ZEC. On 2 Oct 2026 Trocador's ETAs for BTC to ZEC ranged from 9 to 135 minutes, most under 40.
- Identity checks
- Trocador never asks for ID itself, but the partner exchange can halt a swap and ask for ID if a deposit is flagged. kycnot.me rates Trocador KYC level 0 and notes that KYC depends on the partner.
- Compliance screening
- Partners check deposits for AML risk. Trocador's terms say addresses on OFAC sanctions lists are refused. Its guarantee repays some failed swaps, but not swaps blocked for high AML risk or swaps with D-rated exchanges.

Good to know
- Trocador does not touch your funds. The partner you pick does the swap under its own terms.
- On 2 Oct 2026 a 0.01 BTC quote to Zcash (Shielded) showed one partner, BitcoinVN. A quote to Zcash (Transparent) showed more than 15 partners.
- Trocador's terms say users of its partners must not be residents of the US or the European Economic Area.
- trocador.app runs a browser check that needs JavaScript. noscript.trocador.app works without it.
