How to do it
- Open leodex.io in your browser.

- Enter the amount and check the quoted rate and fee.
- Paste your Zcash receiving address. Use a shielded address from a wallet like Zodl, Cake or Zingo for privacy.

Who sees what
Plain facts about who can see this route and who holds your money along the way, with sources. Every route involves some trade-off.
- Who can see it
- The chain you pay from is public. LeoDex's privacy policy says it may share your addresses, amounts, IP address and browser details with its backend and the swap route. The protocol that settles the swap sees it too.
- Who holds your funds
- LeoDex holds no funds; the protocol it routes to settles the swap. Swap Accounts are throwaway wallets kept in your browser.
- Identity checks
- None for ordinary swaps. The providers it routes through may apply their own terms.
- Compliance screening
- None documented by LeoDex. Swaps routed through NEAR Intents are screened and can be held for review.
Incidents
- Maya Protocol, which LeoDex uses for shielded ZEC, halted after an exploit of about $1.7 million. It has since restarted. cointelegraph.com
- An exploit of about $3.8 million briefly paused NEAR Intents. It resumed with a few chains still restricted, and affected users are to be compensated in full. crypto.news
