Who sees what
Plain facts about who can see this route and who holds your money along the way, with sources. Every route involves some trade-off.
- Who can see it
- The chain you pay from is public, and the ZEC arrives on a public transparent address. Godex sees the amounts and both addresses.
- Who holds your funds
- You send coins to Godex's deposit address and rely on it to send the ZEC.
- Identity checks
- No account. kycnot.me's community listing, which its team has not checked, says swaps flagged as high risk trigger an ID check and refunds may require KYC. KYC level 3.
- Compliance screening
- The same kycnot.me listing says transactions are monitored automatically and flagged funds may be frozen. This was not checked against Godex's own terms.
Incidents
None recorded.

Good to know
- Godex's FAQ says swaps usually take 5 to 30 minutes. On 2 October 2026 Trocador's estimate for a Godex BTC to ZEC swap was 37 minutes.
- Godex's own terms couldn't be checked for this guide, so its ID policy below comes from a community listing.
